myself and a friend once started a mini stampede on a train to sligo. We were getting out at a small station and could not get the door open so started to run to the next one. Causing everyone else getting off to run in panic. We then realised some train doors open on the outside! tha was onyl two years ago :)
Did you ever hear the story about your your fancyman's sister being on a train in the then Yugoslavia which was stuck in a station for a bit. Then she noticed that all the foreign people had got off the train and were running along the platform. Then she found out why.
