My wife has a Corinthian style brass helmet and a Viking style stainless steel helmet. Would either of those provide us any protection? Therefore, would SCA events/battles be a good place to organize a resistance?
There is definitely something to what you say, Tom. Why is it that so many people make fun of SCA types? Because THEY know that only people who encase their heads in metal will stand against THEM when the time comes. Through their media control, the enemy have built up SCA types as figures of fun, to deter people from joining up with them.
