Apparently Gary Gygax has died. Gygax was the inventor of Dungeons and Dragons and, by extension, of the entire RPG hobby. I've spent a lot of my life scoving at Gygax and the world of character classes, byzantine tables, and clunky game mechanics he brought us, but the games I actually like playing would not have existed without him.More
