Officially Fish

Capaybaras are the world's largest rodents. The Catholic Church classes them as fish so that people can eat them on fast days.

More Capybara action. And more. And make sure to check out the Perpetual Capybara Machine

That's funny that ILX has a capybara thread. They are cute buggers. And how does the Catholic Church get off classifying them as rodents? Do they spend most of their time in the water?

  2. They spend enough time in water to count as fish.

  3. They classified them as fish so that poor South Americans could eat them instead of yukky piranha fish.

I saw capybaras when I was in Venezuela - they're very sweet.
